I guess not too many people get accused of over-searching. No biggie...I have never been at Gingerman or Blackhawk. Just Road America, Milwaukee Mile and the UWM parking lot in the snow. For some reason, Autobahn and Blackhawk do DEs on Mondays...don't have enough vaca saved up with the recent career change to do weekday track days.

About to buy this setup.. quick question..

1. Can the 275/40R17 fit all around?
2. Does the 17x10 et25 allow for a BBK?

Thanx again.

1. Yes
2. Yes...only if it's a Stoptech ST40/355mm BBK.

Great thread and thanks for everyone's help.
While searching I found a thread that said 275-35-18 with rub lock to lock on an 18x10 et25 wheel.
Can anyone confirm
Thanks all

A street tire will brush against the back of your wheel well liner...it will sound like a rub close to full lock. After 3 years of running a 275 in front I have not yet worn a hole in the liner.

I had no rub with that set up on my e90 and actually make it fit on my e46 now.

There is a slight rub at full lock with BFG-R1, Conti slicks (275/35/18). It really is not an issue. I do however have the stock brakes, do a cool down lap, then drive around the parking lot to cool the brakes. I often pick up gravel that rubs a bit more and even tore off the 4"x4" panel in the front passenger wheel well. Just don’t turn the wheel to full lock and you will be okay.

Depends on which tire and if you use wheel spacers. I'm running 18x10 et 25 and they did not rub with RS3's. However, with NT01's you may have to use spacers and then you may notice some rubbing of the liner at full lock, from outer edge of tire.

NT01 will rub for sure. RS3 are great, but I'm starting to loooovee the Rivals. Such great predictable Jekyll & Hyde personality ( Sheep in wolve's clothing indeed).

I think you won't run with an NT01 unless you have KWs or some other damper that uses a larger diameter body.

I've never rubbed on 275 NT01s on an 10" wide et 25 wheel on the OE dampers, Dinan springs and GC plates.

Can you confirm AD08 and not AD08R? This is promising for the one-set-wonders!
