I tried to search for the topic but couldn't find.

I am taking delivery of a '13 AW coupe 6mt in late feb (car currently in production, the wait is killer).
I'm hoping the snow season here in NYC is over by then...

Anyway,
My question is are there any all season tire season options that will fit on the stock competition package wheels?

I'd rather not go through the headache of 4x18 setup.

I would love to buy a 2 front + 2 rear 19's setup of all seasons for the snow months and then just swap back out to stock tires until they wear (15k or so).

Most answers I've gotten from friends/seen in other threads include the use of Conti DWS or Michelin Alpin at different widths than the stock PS2 or Pzeros.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance guys.

Why are you consider A/S instead of dedicated winters? Sounds like you'll be still using summer tires for the warmer months, not using A/S year-round.

There are a few tire options for 19" winter setups. On ZCPs, I'd use 255/35 and 275/35 Blizzak LM60s. Or get a second set of wheels to allow a narrower tire for improved snow performance. Depends on your how you'll be using your M in the winter.

I am trying to avoid that whole headache.

I guess I should make my question easier.
What all-season tires fit on stock ZCP wheels?

I use A/S for dec-march usually, then switch out again to summers.

Swapping wheels and tires together is generally less headache than dismount/remount and balance 2x per year. It is more expensive up front though, and the length of time you own the car may or may not make it economical in the long run. (The price of the wheel also matters, if you don't mind some fairly plain winter wheels you can get good deals).

To answer your specific question, use 255/35R19 F 275/35R19 R and you will have a good selection of all-season tires.

All-season tires don't make a lot of sense for your situation. Why not have the very best (dedicated snows and summer performance tires) if you are going to have two sets of tires? Two sets of wheels is also a no-brainer IMO. Buy a used set off of this forum to save a little. As Ben said, it's way easier to swap wheels vs. mounting and dismounting tires on one wheel set. You can then sell the second set of wheels when you get rid of the car. I hope this helps.

For those who see salted and plowed roads and never any actual snow accumulation:

Pilot Sport A/S Plus 255/275 rather than winter tires

Allow you to enjoy driving your car during all four seasons.

Winter tires take all the enjoyment out of driving a M3.

I picked up a spare set of 18 rims and Conti DWS for my M3 last year from tire rack when I was in Germany. I don't drive the car in really crappy weather but it works great for the M3 during typical winter weather.

I also have DWS on my wife's car, I have drove them in some shitty weather and they have been great. However, when I replace my tires I'll be getting dedicated winter tires.

great A/S Tire would be the Bridgestone Potenza RE970AS
