Brake sensors

I've been doing some window shopping for BBKs, and noticed some (if not most) require you ditch the brake sensors. Do they instead have shims that squeal if your pads are low, or are you just SOL and have to manual labor check it regularly?

you just have to look, really. if thats a big deal, you're probably not one to do your own oil, so have your mechanic take a look at the inside pads when he's under there.

they don't have the mechanical shim that squeals (that i know of), unless you count the backing plates.

Just check them regularly, I do as you can see them by either removing the cover or just looking in.
