E92 Cool little hidden feature ... in the Trunk

While poking around the new car today, I noticed two little indentations under the trunk-lid. I stopped and thought a second, then it hit me...these are handles to pull the trunk-lid down to close. What a cool little hidden feature (probably in the manual somewhere, which I still have to read completely through). I've been using either the metal portion under the license plate or grabbing the spoiler all this time (which leads to little finger marks on my trunk).

Just thought I'd pass this great/hidden feature along to others on the forum.

Glad you were able to find them lol

Have you come across the little tab that holds up the mat while you get the tire sealant kit out? Also acts as a grocery bag holder

Other cool little thing that you may not know about is that the armrest on the center console can slide foward.

I have found the door handles really useful when attepmting to open the doors...

i never use those "handles" inside any car trunk, because for some reason i end up just about breaking my wrist every time...

I'm sure you found the tire inflation kit under the trunk floor by now (crosses fingers

) See picture 1 below.

There is another nice feature the fellows at BMW added to your car, when you lift the trunk bottom to expose the inflation kit / or extra storage area (see photo 2) in your trunk. The feature the fellows added is a clip on your trunk that holds up the floor while you organize things in the storage area (see if you can find it).

I see you already mentioned what I explained with the photos in post 11

Ah it's okay ... in German we say "Doppeld Gemoppelt hält besser"

... basically means translated "repeated again perhaps makes the coin drop" or similar whatever the situation might be

I said: "In the USA, we call it 'Fix-a-Flat.'"

That must be an M feature, don't think the 3 series come with those.

Yes ... I've been told Mexican Midgets like to hitchhike in an ///M car

then when they reach there destination they like to use the escape device

Every time I put my hockey equipment in the trunk it gets grabbed by the clip.....
