We don't recommend pre-painting these parts as paint on such a large piece can get damaged during shipping. For smaller items like reflectors, grills and spoilers, it's not an issue but we recommend having it painted locally to avoid this.

so how is this installed? the diffuser on the E46 M3's were really easy and could be done by anyone. are these put on using double sided tape? that's it?

The install is very simple. We used 3M double side tape on the top part and OEM mounting bolts on the bottom.

The rear diffuser installs with the OEM bulbs underneath and double sided tape all around. The front lip requires drilling on the bottom portion of the bumper which is not visible when removed meaning you can turn the entire vehicle back to stock if needed. |
