That was sick, i remember that. When I saw that I was like, "no he didnt." Then they showed the replay and I was like "yep, he sure did."

Hossa is amazing, but needs to show it more in the playoffs. I love Hossa (have his jersey), but like ragingclue said, he's been invisible for the most part.

Well he's been visibly hurting them by taking stupid penalties, so I wouldn't say invisible...he's hurt more than he's help IMO needs to turn it around. How was he in Detroit last year? I can't say I was paying much specific attention to the wings or Hossa...more of the same?

^Good point, you cant really do much if your sitting in the penalty box. I dont remember what he did in the playoffs last year, i think pretty much the same, but what i do know is whenever Detroit played us last year, Hossa killed us, so its nice to have him on our side now

He had a couple of nagging injuries last year in Detroit, but he did really well in the regular season. I'm not sure, but I think he had 40+ goals. Stupid penalties didn't seem all that common for him, but he was no Lady Byng candidate either.

However, he completely disappeared in the playoffs. Completely. He looked much slower, played with less heart, and just didn't seem at all like the Hossa we saw during the regular season.

Yeah, I think that can be said for a few other guys on the hawks. Not just hossa. I mean Sharp hasnt really done that much, neither has Versteeg or Bolland. But Sharp and Hossa need to start picking it up. Especially if the hawks move onto the next round and play San Jose. The star players need to play like star players.

Neither Vancouver nor Chicago should have issues with the Sharks, as long as the zebras don't tilt the ice in the series. The great thing about the Hawks is that they don't need everyone to be firing on all cylinders as long as they've got a solid performance between the pipes.

Yeah, thats true. I'm not too worried about the Sharks, I think the hawks can beat anyone. They just need to get guys in front of the net. It worked so well for them before, i dont know why they went away from it last night.

But your right, as long as Niemi is solid, they can win without all the stars playing like stars. When it went into the third period 3-0, i still thought the hawks had a chance with the fire power on their team. They have the type of offense that can score 3+ goals in a period.....ive seen it. Just last night they didnt show the heart and the Canucks did.

Seems like only Toews and Keith wanted to win yesterdays game.
I love Hawks, but sometimes their mood just changes and it seems like they are playing with a 10:0 lead.

haha game started off pretty tense, 0-0 after 1. I really wanted the first goal, because i knew that the way they were playing and the way Niemi (and Luongo in the 1st period) was playing, getting the first goal was going to be huge.

Kane is quickly becoming my favorite Hawk...I love his little fist pump moves after he scores too

First goal is huge with Niemi, to me it seems he plays much better with a lead, less rebounds etc

Definitely... Anytime the series goes 7 games its gonna be good. One team really showed up to play last night, and unfortunately it wasnt my pens. If the Habs keep playin like they have been it will be tough for any team to beat them.

They are definitely playing harder than any other team in the playoffs.

You watched your Pens take a dump on the ice, I watched my Wings do it, we saw the Caps do it, etc.... I love teams that work hard, and they definitely deserve it more than any team loaded with talent who doesn't show up to play hard.
