Aperture Presets

So, I've been searching for Aperture presents to enhance our car pics in different lighting situations. All I seem to find are presets for enhancing landscape or portraits. Has anyone come across presets to enhance car pics? If there are none, what kind of setting changes should I be looking to do to get some of the great looking processed car pics I see on here? Thanks.

BTW, I only have a beginner DSLR. I have a D3100 with a Nikon 18-105, Tamron 18-270 and a Sigma 10-20mm (on the way).

Try F2.8-3.5 just to get the car in focus and everything else OOF. F8-11 to bring your background into the pic

Well, there isn't some magical preset (or sets of presets) in Aperture, LR3, etc to make your car photos enhanced, since there are a nearly infinite number of settings you make have used to capture those images... not to mention the lighting conditions, photographer's vision of how the photos should look like (e.g., B&W, saturated hues).

You cane either make adjustments on a per photo basis, or if the lighting conditions are similar across the shoot, and you used similar settings on your camera, then you can make manual adjustments to a single photo and copy those adjustments to all the others in the set.

I'm sure we can give you more suggestions, tips, etc if you post a photo or two here.

I'm pretty sure he meant the Mac post-processing program called Aperture, as opposed to aperture settings on a lens.

EDIT: But wait, now that I read it again, it's possible he may have meant aperture settings on a lens, since it's not clear if he was using landscape/portrait presets on his Nikon camera, or the ones provided in the Mac app Aperture.

If it's the latter, what khaye1 said applies. Also, I would use whatever the equivalent Nikon setting is for aperture-priority mode (for Canon it's Av). That way, it'll simplify things, and all you have to worry about is aperture and ISO.

Yep, I was referring to the program Aperture. I just thought there might be some presets since there are presets available for other situations. What do you guys do to bring out the reflections on a car's surface? Thanks for offering post-processing tips. I've got some pics of my car in my "Garage List" if any of you wanna take a stab at it.
