Even I got it, and I bought it in Guatemala, and this is from BMW USA, weird, and it was September 08 production, almost two years old

Is it a track event or just a street drive??? I would sign up for a track event but not worth the traffic jams in LA just for a 'street' drive... I can do that on our canyons in my neck of the woods!

I just got mine today. For my area, it is scheduled for 6/27 in farhills, NJ & 6/28 in Tarrytown, NY.. gotta call 1-866-900-4BMW with my invite code!

In DFW they're holding the event at a private airport, so I'm guessing there is going to be driving on the runway. I'm so, so sad. I can't go, 'cause I'm out of town the two days they're holding it.

I'm a BMW CCA member and I've owned three M3s, in addition to other BMWs, over the last 15 years, and I didn't get an invitation!!!!!

What does one have to do to get an invitation???

It looks like a travelling event. They'll probably invite you when they get closer to the date for your region.

Im going, I just want to see the new X5 M.

if your good with your dealer I believe they get to invite some people too, at least thats how I got it, I didnt get a email.

Will it be there?? I thought they were still having development issues with things like underhood heat and that'll it'll be 2010 before most of us actually see one, other than scooting around Spartanburg.

The tour will be in the NJ/NY area at the end of June. I called BMW and they said most dealerships have the ability to invite guests. I have a call in to my dealership.

The 2010 X5M and X6M are supposed to be on the tour.

Interesting. Let us know if you can actually drive it. As recently as three-weeks ago it wasn't ready for prime time.

I do not believe you will drive it, you only drive the M3. The x5 and x6 M will be on display along with the ALMS and M1 race car.

That would make sense. Even if the final product changes a little in order to handle the issues they're resolving now, it'll still be good for prospects to see the new X-Ms.
