Roadside assistance really lifetime?

BMW states they will give you lifetime tire assistance on the M models.
Is there any specific thing we need to do to activate it after the 4 year free RSA has expired?

Go to be dealer or call BMW RSA and renew your subscription where you pay a yearly fee.

Nothing you need to do. after the 4 years is up if you ever need assistance just hit the assist button and if its a flat tire you are covered since you have an M. they will tow you to the closest bmw dealership. they will not tow you to a tire shop though. only a dealership.

Why don't you just pick up the phone and call BMW RSA and ask?

You'll get answers much quicker than posting on here and waiting.

They will not charge for the tow if its for a flat tire but will only take you to the closest BMW dealership. any other issues would cost you unless you pay the $199 fee per year for assist. but yes you can call them and i believe they would still send someone out but you would have to pay.

If you have any other issues (i.e.: transmission), just let all the air out of your tire, then call and say you have a flat.
