I like the ferodo ds2500. Mine were quiet and low dust except with heavy track use.

Is Pagid sticking with the current line of pads or are they coming out with something new soon?

Haven't heard about any new race pads, but they may have some new sport pads in the future, which would work on the street and offer very decent track performance. Will keep you posted.

Richard have you tried carbotechs, PFC, and endless as well? Can you give me a rundown of your feelings about each?

Just put on a set of RS-19 on stock front brakes.

Omg these squeal like craaaaazy. At 1st only when warm and coming to a complete stop. Once I bedded them in as per pagid instructions, the squealing got a whole lot worse.

Anyway I'm just planning to run them on the track. Have to avoid driving around till then or my neighbors are gonna start complaining.

I also read that they make not be as noisy when used on multi piston calipers so this is only my experience with the stock calipers.

The initial bite isn't as strong as OEM pads. Will update more after my track session this Sunday.

Compared to the endless cc-rg I have on my Brembo 6-pots which are 100% silent and the initial grab is very strong, requiring very little pedal pressure to throw u forward. Again this isn't apples to apples comparison since its stock calipers vs Brembo.....

Both setups on steel hoses and castrol SRF.

I'm waiting on replacement rotor rings for my brembos that's why I'm running the stock brakes on the track this weekend.

Some of my customers have reported that adding some anti squeal compound may help with the noise. Something like this.

Thanks for the info! I'll just run em as it is for the time being, it's not gonna be a permanent setup and getting those calipers and pads off isn't the easiest job in the world!

*edit
Just curious though, where do u apply the anti squeal? On the back of the pads that come into contact with the pistons?

PAGID-19s are just phenomenal for the money on OEM brakes. I've used these for 3 track events this year and I can vouch for excellent modulation and bite lap after lap.

If anything, these pads increased by braking confidence with me stopping later lap after lap with ease.

Simply the best bang for buck for track enthusiasts in my book.

For those commenting on brake squeal, its only normal to have it squeal after track event.

Glad to finally get real track feedback for the RS19/RS-29 on the stock 135i calipers. Are you doing any sort of cooling of your front brake rotors, and pads? Any sort of fade towards the end of your sessions? What sort of speed have you reached and how many hard braking zones were there per lap?

Ive destroyed every brake pads and or run into fading issues with everythingIve tried so far on my 135i at two of the three tracks I visit regularly. Out of the track pads Ive used (Carbotech XP10, Project Mu Club Racer 09, Performance Friction 08), the PMU CR09's have been the best with zero fade but tended to crumble after a few hard track days. The PFC 08 are the best all-rounders/dual duty pads with no noise regardless of temperature reached, but tend to fade towards end of session on tracks with several hard braking zones...

Edit - just noticed your car is an E90/M3 ... disregard above ...

question, may be covered ut haven't got the time to scan the thread... is the s19/29 paint work friendly, some of these race pads are really harmful to the paintwork and need to be removed immediately.
