"Detailed" Pics of Megan Racing SS Exhaust (PIC HEAVY)

I recently picked up a "3 day used" Megan Racing SS exhaust for stupid cheap and thought I'd post up some pics for everyone. I know it is the "budget" exhaust out there and others are of higher quality but after opening the box and looking at the construction, I'm impressed. It is not Akra quality of course but for what I paid I'm ecstatic!

You be the judge.

*The "smudges" are from my mechanics gloves that were a little oily. I should have taken the pics after I wiped it all down. Also there is some light dust and some scratches on the top from where I assume it was set on concrete. Nothing I'd expect if bought "new"

I like it. Exhaust mods for these cars are insanely overpriced. Back half of the exhaust does zero for performance anyway. Lets see pics when it's on the car. Congrats!

Nice! Most importantly, get some videos up. Are you running it with the stock x pipe/resonator configuration?

Nothing wrong with robotic welding in and of itself. No surprise that they are selling well when you consider there are exhausts which appear to be of similar quality at several times the price.

The shorts gave me a chuckle.

Stock X-pipe for now. Sounds pretty good!

Sounds pretty good! Definitely VERY bassy (if that is a word...). More deep character down low then above maybe 5-6k rpm it reverts to a loud form of the stock sound.

Nah?! I'm sure there is some amazing guy in Taiwan with perfect welding skills

Same here. Was pleasantly surprised!

Haha yeah those are my "work shorts." I'll admit it, I'm preppy. They're eight year old Polo shorts that have had the bottom 1.5" fray off the front only, still on the back though so they look funny for sure. Who wears short shorts to work on his car?

This guy!

Didn't think of that but it kind of does. Would love to see some close ups of other, similar exhuasts!

I agree. Not surprised they're selling after seeing this.

Yep, love the shorts. 72* today here in Charleston!

I have a Meisterschaft exhaust and I'd say the quality is marginally better. It's definitely not six times better (it's six times the price) though. I bought it more for the sound though.

I have a Megan on my car...thoroughly impressed with the exhaust considering the money that was spent. With the Turner Test Pipes and the AFE Stg2 the car sounds amazing.

very nice exhaust, great price and sound. I was looking to pick one up for my E90 but I couldn't wait for it to be released so I ended up with an AA exhaust.
