Is it possible for someone to crawl into the back seats? I have been contemplating recaros but I do still need the rear seats on occasion.

well let me just put it like this, my 9 year old daughter was struggling to get in and out of the back seat yesterday. So id say an adult or teen would have one heck of a time. I also have sliders and thats with the seat forward all the way

That's what I thought....

One more question. Was it difficult to get the seat belt receiver to fit into the seat's inner belt guide? I had some pole positions in a porsche and ended up buying different receivers, plus extension hardware to get the porsche receivers to thread through the belt guide. It seems like a lot of people with pole positions on BMW's leave the seatbelt receivers outside the seat (between the seat and transmission tunnel) but I don't think that is best because then the belt doesn't pass over your lap and sometimes there isn't enough space for the receiver. It almost looks like your pole positions have a larger belt pass through opening than most (thus allowing the receiver to fit). Your thoughts would be appreciated!

Yes this was an issue also the receivers barely and I mean barely go into the seat guide, but just enough to work properly. I was wondering why they were designed this way. If you look at the pics closely you can see that they barely fit in the guide. It's like they are long enough just to be forced in and not move from that position (hope you understand what I mean), but with mine they still fit snug over my lap and funtion like they were designed to. One other thing I didnt like was the seat belt recepticle wasnt thread, which made me kind of mad, so I have to get a bolt, washer, and locking nut and torque it down. I think that they should have designed them so that you can use the OEM bolt. You cant because number 1 the recepticle isnt threaded and number 2 its too freaking short for the recepticles for them. All in all it works and is 100% safe and for the track I'm using a Schroth quick fit harness

Thanks for the info. I have learned that it's never easy to fit race seats; especially if you want to maintain use of your factory 3-point seat belts. I just got a set of Schroth quick fit pro's and they seem to be very well designed. I'm excited to try them out with my OEM seats on an upcoming track day. I'm hoping that they hold me in place sufficiently to avoid going to recaro's which will negatively impact the car's utility.

yeah no problem buddy. using the fatory 3 point is still good though for dsily and the quicl fit for track. We're on the same page on that one. My buddy used the quick fit with his OEM seats and loved it and had no issues, but just in the pole position with fatory belt you done budge so i cant even imagine with the 4 point....im excited as well.

I love pole positions; they look and fit perfectly for me (except for the location of the shoulder pass throughs (too low)). I wish I didn't need the back seats!

thank you and its extremely hard, my 9 year old daughter was struggling to get in and out bc i wanted to drive it to a family brunch. a teen or adult getting in the back is possible but with a lot of work and scuffs all over the rear of the Recaros
