European delivery service reimbursement problems
Is anyone else having any issues getting reimbursed for having the first service reimbursed by BMW NA?
I had the service performed in Munich in late May, submitted the receipts to the dealer on June 2nd and have yet to receive the reimbursement. To cut a long story short I was told six weeks ago that everything was submitted to BMW NA and I should have my check within 6 weeks. I obviously don't have my check yet so I called the dealer today and was told that there are some issues on getting them submitted and it is going to take longer. How long did it take others to be reimbursed?

That's a long time. I read several posts on Bimmerfest about it taking about a week. My dealer submitted mine last Wednesday.
I have an email from the European Delivery department with very specific instructions on how the dealership is to submit it. PM me your email address and I'll forward it to you. |

Thanks Merlosso. I don't think it's a case of the dealer not knowing what to do.
Anyway, I've been promised it's just 7-14 days away, so we'll see.

I hope you get it soon. Mine arrived in the mail yesterday, so it took less than 2 weeks from the day I mailed my receipts to the dealer until I had my check. Not trying to make you feel bad, just saying that it shouldn't take that long to get reimbursed.

You are not making me feel bad. This car has tested my patience from the wait for euro delivery to a slightly extended wait for PCD to this, wait for the check (it's been the least taxing of the 3 waits).
I don't have a lot of patience so this car has made me a better person, and I'm still a winner because guess what I get to see each morning when I go out to my garage!

1200 mi service reimbursement
Mailed mine to the dealer on 9/19/11 a couple days after returning from ED. Check for reimbursement (from the dealer, not BMWNA) was dated 10/4/11.
BTW, leaving on Tuesday for PCD. Can't wait to get my hands back on the car! Something sounds screwed up with your refund. Good luck. |
