Moving on from M3 coupe........
Thanks to all the good people who helped me with questions on building buying my car and eventually euro delivery but I have sold my M3 coupe and moved on to something new
I still have an itch for a BMW but it will likely not be an M as a winter car / beater.... P.S. Sorry for the crappy picture quality... |

You will certainly get more looks, it would be great if you write a comparison of performance and comfort when you get a chance
congrats

I was commenting to some friends that the ass-dyno says the M3 is just as fast in a straight line but it's really just a vestige of the fact that the R8 never gets unsettled and just bolts in a straight line when launched. The R8 is not as fast in a line as my M5 was but what's truly amazing about it is how it takes corners. Holy mother of all that is holy!! That car loves and devours corners and stays just flat through corners.... This is about as close to driving nirvana as I have ever come and I've driven some amazing cars.... It is also surprisingly comfortable. Firm but not jarring suspension setup - and the sport setting uses the same magnetic suspension as the F599 and Corvette ZR-1. It's easy to figure out why. Anyway, keep asking if you wanna know an M guy's opnion of an R8 |

True.
The side blades give away that my car is a V8 not a V10. Also V10 cars have a small V10 badge on the fenders right after the front wheel well. The exhaust is also a single oval rather than my Twin dual pipes. |

R8 is great mate But not for DD in my world. Would love one, though.

That R8 is my next car in a couple of years. I am waiting for the convertible to be out 1-2 years to work out all the bugs. After that, never a BMW again. (refer to DCT link)

You're going to love the R8 its very different feel to the M3. It sure gets a ton of look around town and you can park it in front of the club. We had a V8 R8 for about a year and my dad is switching it up and ordered a V10 R8. It will be cool to be able to compare living with both of them I still love my car more though |
