Hello, I am looking to sell my car soon and I’d prefer someone on the forum before I post it on Craigslist and the sorts. I have invested too much to be selling the car but I am forced to sell it only because my life just took an unexpected turn. It has been one of the most reliable cars I have owned. Apart from basic maintenance, I have not had a single issue that has hindered me from driving the car without concerns of something failing apart. The car is from the south (originally from NC, then SC where I had it and then I moved up to Michigan only in 2013 for work), so there is absolutely no rust in the chassis or anywhere on the vehicle. I have always had a garage to put the car in, so the interior is as good as can be, with no cracks or damage anywhere. All of the known issues with e36 M3’s have been addressed with name brand parts. There have been no shortcuts with building this car. Since I bought it, all the upgrades have been to only make it more reliable.
