Talking Amazing Meisterschaft GT2 Downshifts

About a week ago I got together with another forum member (I'll spare the owners name to save him from the DSC - Fail comments ) to get his exhaust on video. The YouTube video still does not do this exhaust justice, in person this is an amazing set up and may be the direction I go with my car. I took his car for a calm spin around the parking lot and it actually wasn't bad at all for a day to day set up - definitely not what I expected of it. I will need to get some more seat time to be sure.

Mods Include
  • Meisterschaft GT2 Exhaust
  • M/S Under Drive Pulleys
  • Fabspeed Non-Res/Catless X-Pipe
  • RPi Air Scoops

Those downshifts sound incredible! That thing must drone like a mofo on the freeway though. My Meister GT with their LX pipe (retain stock primaries, 2ndary delete, res delete) was too much for me.

PS. I think you should choose a better location next time. It's not a good idea to drive like that in a parking lot IMO.

We love our GT2 system

Dear driver... please do another video with epic drift/burn outs (not in crowded parking lot though) so we can see/hear it!

Will do, we are planning on shooting another video next weekend before a big meet we have in the area.

I apologize for the parking lot, I was not expecting the driver to get so carried away, but it was addressed at the time of the video as well.

Thanks for the comments, keep them coming!

Scary to see that in that parking lot..yikes.

But good sounds! Definitely do another one where you can really showcase the exhaust! No need for burnouts...but downshifts...YES. I'm tired of seeing videos where people are reving while in neutral sitting in a parking spot.

You could add an X-pipe with resonators and retain the factory primary cats (you'll have to cut/weld them onto the new X-pipe). I'm only running a GT section 3 myself, and haven't heard this in person, but this setup would get you quite a bit louder without being too obnoxious (but definitely riding that fine line )

Here is the above setup on forum member nuzey's car (but has since removed this setup because it was too loud):
