keep in mind that your car may take longer to board a ship if theres a lot of cars waiting to be loaded in front of yours...

Just got a update from my SA, i am status 112 with no delay for a M-DCT spec coupe. ETA is 7 weeks from now.

Finally got my prod. number. I'm sitting at 105 right now according to my dealer. And online it's showing IB on black with a moonroof...I guess it's just behind.

Nope, he just said cars with 19in got delayed and that my order is locked and my car will be ready to be built very soon, within the next 2 weeks.

What port would they ship the car from Germany if I live in Florida? And it usually takes around 15 days for it to cross the atlantic right?

I put my order in on Jan 15. I also put my depoist in the middle of 06. The sales person told me the first allocation was going to the owner , demo , myself. I thought the reason why I wasn't making the release is because I was part of the second allocation. It seems like I have to give my sales person a call and see whats up

It seems to me that some people are getting production dates not necessarily in order they received their production numbers. Some people seem to get ahead of others in production. Is there a system to this I am not seeing? Sorry if this doesn't make sense.

yah like in my case i got the spot of someone who already got a production # before but he canceled his order. so that could be one possibility

I think mine was like that too, someone passed on the order and my SA just changed the specs.

Uuuhhhmmm....guys I think I may have a problem.

I just got off the phone with the 1-800# to find out what status I really was. They said I am 150, that the car began production on the 18th and will be done on the 24th. She said that she could no longer make changes on her end.

I didn't know it would move this quickly and was still undecided on the interior color.

I've called the dealership back East they are currently closed.

Anyone know if it is definitely too late even for the dealer to make the change?

I think I shit the bed on this one.
