V1 install - fuse tap question
Sorry if this is a silly question, but I hardwired my Valentine 1 using the fuse tap method and I have a question. Do the extra wires and the hardwire adapter go behind the fusebox cover or do you leave everything in the glove box? I haven't done any DIY audio/electronics stuff, so I don't know if its safe to leave it in there. thx!

I'd put it behind the fusebox cover. I didn't use that method in my E92, but did in my E46. I had to leave it behind the cover since that was where my ground was.
Where did you ground yours? |

I have it grounded to the bolt next to the fuses. OK, so I zip tied the excess wires together and just stuffed them inside the fusebox. I was just worried that they might be sitting on something... can't see inside that well.

It's pretty cramped back there unless you take out the glove box which is a PITA. But removing (or just pulling down) the dash panel below the glove box can help a little. You definitely need to zip tie anything you put back there to keep down the clutter. Sounds like you're ok.
Cheers.
