What interior trim is this?

I thought it might be sycamore but the texture seems a bit different from the pictures of sycamore I saw on this forum.

It does look very nice, but IMO not for the M3.

I'm not a huge fan of wood trims in the M cars or AMG for that matter
They only llok good in high end exotics and old cruisers like the S class or the 7 series

Wood is for luxo barges not sports cars (unless it's a morgan in which case it's made from the stuff so is vital )

Yeah exactly. I have extended black with the Sycamore only because I am changing out the trim. Not for this car IMO either

It's not a bad look, but does remind me of my brother-in-law's Avalon. Carbon Leather FTW.

I concur... I think it is sycamore w/bamboo extended, not anthracite (spelling?) which is a bluey black colour.

Not my fav. colour - but if it suits you then great!

In my opinion, Sycamore "only" looks good when old couple (55-65 yrs old) drives around in sunny weekend. It looks really cool and "hip" but not for under 55 years old. It loses it's sport spirit. Just my opinion. =)

Ah well, I guess I'll go from 39 to 65 the moment I take delivery.

It was the colour BMW used to launch the BMW M3 Convertible...

Tend to agree but I did see it in a JzB 'vert at Die Welt last year and in that case I thought it OK.
