Fuel Light error
car had less than 1/8 tank, put 12 gallons and then started the vehicle and fuel gauge light is still lit. gauge reads correct at =/- 3/4 tank but gas warning light is still illuminated as if it were less than 1/4 tank or 1/8 tank.
has anyone had this happen before? tried searching fuel and gauge and nothing specific to my problem.  EDITED: I MAY HAVE CHANGED THE WARNING INDICATOR TO READER HIGHER THAN 1/4 TANK BUT WON'T BE CERTAIN UNTIL AFTER WORK. LOL.
