are titanium exhausts louder than stainless steel exhausts? comparing apple to apples, if you take a stainless steel exhaust and make a titanium version and put them side by side, would there be a sound difference?

also is titanium more prone to cracking in cold than stainless steel?

They are not louder the pitch is different due to the differences in the specific gravity of the materials. Titanium is actually going to drone less due to it making a higher pitch sound.

A good quality titanium exhaust will not suffer cracking! Cracking usually occurs on poorly constructed exhausts made from substandard materials.

Correct. The main factors that influenced me to go with titanium over a stainless system were the higher pitch and lack (to some extent) of drone. The weight savings were pretty nice too, but the sound...
