FS: Performance Stuff
Everything sold! (Wow, this thread is ages old! ) For sale is the Performance BMW Interior stuff I have. I have the Performance BMW Shift Knob, and a Alcantara Shift Boot made Performance BMW-style (boot only, no boot ring). Everything has been used for under 2k miles. Knob and boot are going as a set for $90.00 FIRM (new around $170.00). PM me with offers. Shipping at buyer's expense, buyer pays 3% Paypal fees if Paypal is used. Low-ball offers will be ignored. Edit: Knob and boot pending sale. Pedals sold. Last edited by LateBraking; 04-20-2011 at 04:50 PM.. |

how difficult is it to install the wheel, is it a DIY or should you pay for someone to do it? I don't want the airbag inflating in my face while i'm hooking it up.

I read a DIY (don't remember where it was) and decided to pay someone else to do it. I heard that if you push this one thing right, airbag pops off. Push it wrong, and potentially kaplooey in your face.

yeah I found the DIY, it's not exactly easy. There's some wire taping action too for the power source. Seems like the easist part is popping your old wheel off.. Do you have all the parts? http://www.m3post.com/forums/attachm...8&d=1217398435 Last edited by mdosu; 07-20-2010 at 11:59 AM.. |

I saw in a DIY guide somewhere that you can cut out the OEM steering wheel to add in space, so that the paddles can slip through. Dunno about doing such fabrication work though, wouldn't count on it.
Steering wheel buyer backed out, back up for sale. Last edited by LateBraking; 07-21-2010 at 01:25 AM.. |

Guys, just to be fair, when I put up a price and say OBO PM me with offers, It means that if you don't like the price, PM me witn an offer and we can work it out. I have already put up a price, but by asking me lowest offer, it means that clearly, you guys have a different number in mind. Why not just tell me what that number is?
I cleared out my inbox yesterday, so I missed some of you guys that asked me about shipping in the past, so I apologize for that. I would like to inform you all that I will consider shipping at this point in time. Last edited by LateBraking; 07-22-2010 at 11:43 AM.. |
