That's good to hear, because I can't imagine BMW could hold off much longer on increasing prices dramatically with the way the economy is shaping up this year and into next year.

Uh... I think I may have spoke too fast. I was quoting the 2008. I'm now franticallly searching for a yay or nay on the 2009 base increase!!!

I posted a copy of the Vehicle Inquiry Report for my confirmed 2009 E90 M3 order last month (link below). It includes a line '615 Online Information Services' that wasn't on the VIR for my old 2008 order.
I assume this is the new iDrive changes that include either the new Google Maps address sending function, the more comprehensive "online programming" of your car that was revealed in the recent patent filing, or both, that should be included in the new iDrive. Not full confirmation, but seems pretty likely to me that all 2009 M3's will get the new iDrive based on this. I have heard nothing about price increases yet as all 2009 pricing is still blocked in the US ordering system (confirmed with my dealer as of Monday this week).
