No cash out of pocket in the near term or ever? If your 'equity' in it would be the same, then I don't think its a hard decision. You are getting 2 years of extra warranty and maintenance for free essentially. The E92 vs E90 debate is a wash for me; the E92 w/ CF roof is definitely cooler, but the E90 at least has some practicality.

keep the e90. If they were still making them, I'd probably be trading my e92 in for one. can't beat the utility of 4 doors, especially since there's no performance penalty (which is pretty remarkable).

Brand new is always better. In two years you can say that statement yet again.

I personally would do it because I like the look of the e92 much better + love the carbon fiber roof. Kinda sucks that some of your mods won't be able to carry over.

Just curious though...how long would you plan on keeping the e92 ?!

And what about a dakar yellow e93? (I'm just trying to think ahead for you!)

I don't like dakar yellow but IMO it looks slightly less gawky in a coupe than a sedan since you have the CF roof breaking up some of the pale yellowness

+1. To me, dakar looks like it needs a good detail.

+2 , Dakar and that Porsche pale/mustard yellow are just ugly variants.
The only yellow that looks good is something bright like Ferrari Speed, but even then I feel it's just a fad/phase; how long can you drive a yellow car everywhere

I saw one on the show-room floor, here in Calgary 8-9 months ago.
It looked cool. Definitely a cool car!
I would REALLY like to see how this turns out after you're finished with it!
You'll end up with a 13 rather than 11 right? --> Do it
Probably getting a better deal than $97K right?

My suggestion is to stick to the E90. Classy, practical and rare. Nuff said.
