random question about neutral and driving in d mode

I accidently drove in d mode and revved past 5000 rpm and the other question is that I got out of the car while leaving neutral so it started roing back is this okay or can any damage happen?

Well.. As far as the revving over 5000 goes, if you're still under break-in it's not a great idea but you won't damage anything if you only do it here and there. Just try to keep an eye on it from now on and you should be a-ok.

Rolling in N is not an issue either. Think of it like a manual. You won't damage anything unless you go careening down a hill into the back of a parked Escalade.

Hope I could be of service .

It's 5,500RPM so I'm not sure what the issue is here... but even if you went past, it's fine. Also, backing up in neutral a problem? I'm really confused why people think DCT is so different. No problem.
