E93 M3: Window trim vinyl wrap.

So like many of you here I'm not a big fan of the chrome window trim. I understand that some of you here have gone with the black vinyl wrap.

Can someone post closeup pictures of the result?

Also I realize that there is a bit of chrome on the trunk of the car. Can that be wrapped too?

Last question, does anyone know someone who can do a good job of wrapping these parts in the Bay Area? Thx.

BB,

I had mine wrapped in black vinyl. I will be going to C&C @ Santana Row tom if you wanna check it out. I had it done at HD Auto Salon in SJ. They have different shades of matte as well, gloss/flat/semi gloss ect. I can take close up pics tonight, but it will be under artificial light. Come to C&C tom at SR to check it out in the sun!

Just noticed you have AW. IDK how vinyl wrapping it black will look. The reason I wrapped mine was to sort of hide the separation in the trim, if you went black, it would show the lines even more.

Hey thx for the reply. I would love to see how your car looks with that wrap. Are you talking about the C&C which happens every weekend? Or was it this morning?

My reason for wrapping the trim is exactly the same as yours The black rubber things that seperate each section of the trim is hideous. I've seen some members here post pictures of their AW E93 with the window trim wrapped and it looks great. I just want to see it up close.

How close up do you want, I have a camera handy. I will also be at the C&C Tom morning.

Sweet! I'll be there. I just want to see if the wrap blends in with the rubber part and also how well the chrome part of the trunk is done. But I guess I'll check it out tomorrow at the C&C. Thx again man.

If you're willing to come down to the LA area, we can have it done for you!

It looks great, and changes a lot on the vehicle.
