To those that purchased this brand, how is the quality and customer service? I am looking to purchase the front bumper and diffuser.

Was going to go with the bumper but found out that fitment was not perfect. Fellow forum member classic6 who had the bumper gave me a detailed review about their "quality"

I went with Arkym for their Trunk, rear diffuser, and front lip. Trunk fitment was dead on bolt up! Rear diffuser I put double stick tape along with the screws direct bolt on as well fitment was great the lip on the other hand was also a direct bolt on BUT there are some slight alignment issues that only if your more anal that car show judges you will see. I am 110% happy with everything from Arkym!

I just purchased the diffuser and lip. Fitment was some of the best from non-OEM carbon fibre parts that I've seen. Was told it would take 5 weeks to manufacture, and dead on 5 weeks it was shipped.

My only small issue with the parts is that if you buy the single sided cf, around the tops of the parts they are gloss black which does show when installed. Any other part I've bought will be cf everywhere that can be seen when installed.

Looking at this diffuser for the E90 so... not many options for me out there.

Mode carbon (not avl. yet), Challenge (not avl. yet), Revinora (not avl. yet), 3F engineering (not avl. yet)

basically I can get the Vorstiener or Arkym and I don't want the Vorsteiner.

oh yeah, 3d design has one for $1800!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

There's no aftermarket stuff that's 100% fitment 100% of the time, IMO.
My bumper fit fine expect kidney grills were a little tight to remove, but that would be easy to open up a little with a Dremel work if you want it perfect. .

+1 all aftermarket companies have fitment issues, nothing will fits like OEM.

I installed the Aerosport lip and it lasted 75 miles before a 120mph run saw it separate from OEM bumper and destroy itself. Its mostly fiberglass with a carbon leading edge. The glass is what broke. I'm emailing them as we speak to see if they'll stand behind their product, but so far its been a week and no response. I'm starting a thread soon, so follow along and lets see if this company is really out to please their customers or more interested in filling their pockets only!

Did you use double sided tape along the front of the lip as well or only the screw holes?

No part is ever perfect. There will always be defects. Even my $2200 Vorsteiner trunk is an 8.5 out of 10 for fitment. I'm super anal about car parts because I've worked at Toyota. And I can see all the panel lines that the normal person cannot.

That said, the arkym bumper is what you expect. No part is ever perfect. If you want perfect then stick with OEM.

Aftermarket vendors very rarely have a meticulous QA engineer combing the parts for defects. It cost way too much for them to re-do it. At Toyota, if there was a minor gap with a fully assembled car, then they'd scrap the whole car.

Here is my arkym. Recently painted and installed by a local 5 star yelp body shop that does high end cars including a local e92 GTS build.

The body shop had to push my headlights back into the engine bay. The fenders aren't flush. There are noticeable (to me) gaps where the bumper meets the fenders. The quality of the notches where the grill inserts go is really cheap and breaks easily.

Overall, I'm satisfied by but not by the quality. This second aftermarket part, after Vorsteiner, has left me very jaded about aftermarket parts. In the future, I plan on sticking to OEM.
