You are correct BMW Fanatic, mine is the only sedan version other than that European one... They are a few coupes around but I like the sedans better myself. Just personal preference is all.

A few people have asked that and being in Canada I can't seem to find any. It is easy to bring into Canada from the US and we have way more laws. So I can't imagine it is hard but I honestly don't know the procedure.... There are tons of sites for US into Canada but not vice versa..... If you're serious I'd simply call your closest border crossing.

I've previously looked into getting car imported from Canada and I recall three major fee categories
- Duties (don't recall what they were)
- Transport (can be avoided if you could drive it. I also recall there was some advantage if you were physically taking car across yourself)
- Gas guzzler fee (same one you'd pay if buying it new)
Things added up quite quickly - but whoever is considering it - please check yourself. There was also certification from bmw you'd need to obtain stating that car is compliant to us standards - that should not be an issue - but still something to do.
