Any military sales folk been able to track car with production number
I just tried to track my car with the production number. I just tried but BMWUSA doesn't recognize the number. Is that because it doesn't go into production until later this month - or is it just not going to work.

It's because it's not in the USA system until after you get your original purchase documents and fax or mail them (copy) to BMW USA. You'll have your car before that.

I had to wait until the VIN was issued by BMW. I received the VIN from MSP on 3/8/10, about 10 days after I sent my signed purchase order. Now I can track on the BMWUSA website.

You won't be able to track it but your dealer can. He can give you the blow by blow description of where your car is in the process. Mine was in production a week early - don't be surprised if yours is too. Most dealer let you make changes to your car up until you have the VIN. GL -
