rough idle
Morning all,
I know this thread has been done but I have some specific questions... Car has a bit of a rough idle these days. Through an engine code that relates the idle control valve. So plan is to replace the idle control valve. I was also thinking of replacing spark plugs and distributor and wires as well. I have an 08 sc with vf 620 kit. Any suggestions as to plugs, wires etc? Where is best place to get such parts? Any other suggestions for replacement at this time? I like to stay ahead on maintenance Thanks Rjh |

You should do a search before replacing your ICV cause a couple guys running SC kits had the same complains and it was just a tune update.
Regarding spark plugs, use the stock ones, get all your parts from BMW or any of the dealer vendors on M3post. Good luck ! |

It's a 08? You do rod bearings? I kid I kid. Most likely the ICV. If you search my posts I posted a video awhile ago when I supercharged My car I was having idling problems as welll. Turns out it was software related. Hope you get this issue resolved!
