it will be hard to repair it,

First option: you need to eliminate the whole lip or broken section with carbon fiber, it's require wet sanding in order to get it in a good condition stage.

Second option is to repair with fiber glass and paint the whole lip.

Not much you can do but repair with fiberglass and then paint over it.

Only option is what The Tech said and paint it body color or gloss black. I've come to the conclusion that if your M is daily it just does not make sense to purchase a high end lip such as Arkym, Vorsteiner, or 3D design etc. I removed my Revinora RCRT lip since i like to daily my M. I'll slap it on for meets and shows, its only 4 screws and some 3M tape.

just keep as is and drive. Unless you are really anal about it. I like to think of front lips as deposible items. It can have a lil wear and tear. Adds character to the car

Depends on where you live. We have good roads in my area of OC. I daily mine pretty low with an Arkym lip and I've only had one major scrape in a year (in an area I'm not familiar with). NYC is probably another story though...
