sorry but my car is stock and so was the e9x m3 and yes i lost but i do not think i got destroyed by any means . And you have obviously not seen all of the comparison videos because top gear uk was one that proved that straight line the c63 is faster. O and also a clk black series competes with the m6.

No BMW can touch it.

As for M5 and M6, the old SL55 V8 Kompressor is faster and handles better aka ran better time on the Nurburgring. There goes the BS myth about MB cant handle haha.

Are you stupid? The stick M3 was 2 seconds behind it on the ring, now an e90 M3 with a DCT and comp package would easily best that time

Are you seriously comparing 2 completely different sources from different drivers, day, track conditions, temperature, etc? You might as well compare times from Gran Turismo.

I can be mistaken, but it says "The lap times? Below eight minutes for sure, with Mercedes officials suggesting as quick as 7:45." From the quick scan I did through the article I never saw an official time, but here is an official time

Interesting, call me pessimistic, but just like Nissans claims for the GTR that can't be replicated I'm not sure how much I believe Mercedes' claim on this track time. I can be wrong, but I just find it hard to believe that the two cars can be so close on so many tracks, but have such a drastic time difference on the ring. Still have nothing, but respect for that car at the end of the day though.

You can clearly see that the M3 in the second video tried to jump let off then the AMG got the jump. Not saying the M3 is faster not saying the C63 is faster just saying that they are very close in terms of acceleration and speed. Also all test and reviews put them at very similar trap speeds and quarters and looks like it would vary on the skill of the driver between the two, and it's not so cut and dry which one will be faster on a given day....What is cut and drive is an M3 will outshine a stock C63 on a track in the same conditions with the same driver by a marginal difference, the speed difference isn't so drastic as the handling is IMO. Once again though different strokes for different folks...the C63 is nothing, but a great car as is the M3 just don't understand the CLK's rivalry between M3's right now when they would be just as close to straight line performance to our cars as to yours.

CLK550 is similar to my C55 AMG. am i right? besides that my C55 is tuned by eurocharged, has E55 intake+CF snorkles, true dual exhaust.

Raced by very own e90 M3 DCT with aFe Stage II intake. C55 is quicker from like 0-30ish then my M3 ripped it right after and the C55 is no match.

dont even say I'm BS-ing, i own BOTH cars, i drive BOTH of them all the time. enough said, move on.

What MSRP man? CLK550 is no longer in production....so it's cheap and outdated

the msrp was around 57k ($56,920 base price). The clk was in production till late 2009 early '10 when Mercedes decided to make the e-coupe replace it(bad idea IMO). Many of the people on this thread have 08 and 09 m3's. And just because the car is not in production now does not mean its outdated, since they are still using the same motor. If it was truly outdated the e550 coupe would have a completely different motor, tranny etc.

CLK500/550 is a luxury non AMG class, probably compared to a e92 335i thats how it works.

CLK63 non black series, to E92 M3 to RS5, C63 to E90 M3 to RS4


CLK550 guys, accept the fact, no matter what you say how fast your car is.
