Talking ED Order in Production!!!

Well I didn't want to bump my old thread in general forums from a couple of months ago when I first placed my order so I'd thought I'd start a new one here.

My ED order is finally in production and is to be completed by 17Dec12. I'm locked in for an ED date of 14Jan13!! Here are the details:

AW
MT
Carbron Leather Trim
Fox Red Seats
Spoiler delete
Competition Spoiler (Port Install)

That's all..was gonna do sport cloth, but damn I love the Speed Racer combo as I like to call it. Anybody else scheduled for ED the same day?

I've been planning for this since the E92 M3 was released. I've been accumulating upgrades over the last few years to help me with the wait. Work Brombachers 19/9.5 & 19/10.5 Black Face, KW V3, Challenge Cat Back Exhaust and Street X-Pipe, and a few other items.

Thanks again to David Aviles at NWBMW. Even with the change in allocation on ED for M3s he still got hooked me up with a smoking deal!!!

Congrats man!! I bet the price you got is a steal for an M3.

There's a place in Germany by BMW that rents snow tires for ED.. I would consider it depending on the weather!

Thanks for heads up, but I'm not gonna need them as I'm not going to even drive her. I'm gonna show up, sign my papers, touch her, sit in her, and then pay the fee to have BMW take it to the shipper!!!

Congrats! David is the man, he hooked me up as well. Just picked mine up at the Welt and did the same thing you have planned (it was snowing heavily while we were there and the entire city was blanketed). Went off without a hitch and had an amazing time!

Oh, be sure to have 75 Euro cash (exact change) for the flatbed transport charge.

Thanks for the heads up on the exact change requirement. Yeah I don't want to take any chances driving her in the snow!!!

Makes sense but just FYI

The Welt offers very convenient, secure, and free underground parking. You just have to ask for passes.

Our plan when we went in the winter was to use this parking if it snowed. It is a nice backup plan. In fact we used it anytime we were in Munich because it is much easier to navigate than the tiny ramps to hotel parking in the area.

You might want to be flexible, considering how this winter has been thus far, you might end up having a 65 degree day and sunny to go run on the Autobahn at least. A jaunt down to eat lunch in Fussen and back would be well worth it IMO.

Thx for the suggestion however my current plan is to take advantage of the BMW on Demand right there at the Welt and take one of their cars and drive the Sh*t out of it. Currently have a M6 reserved!!!

Dream Come True at The Welt

Well I know it isn't anything people haven't seen before here's a few pics from my ED Pickup at the Welt this last Monday:

Yes you may have noticed spoiler Delete as the competition spoiler will be port installed!!!

I've left out the pictures of me breaking down and crying like a little girl upon first seeing her on the rotating platform.

Thanks again to David Aviles and NW BMW on getting this set up. As I have been stating over and over, the window is getting smaller and smaller and with the allocation issue getting an ED M3 is getting damn tough. With this being the last of the NA V8s as far as we know...I would say jump on it and give David a call. If anyone can get you hooked up he can and you won't believe the price. I know my numbers and I checked with the main players before placing my order with David and at the end it wasn't even close price wise.

I believe the garage door opener comes only with the premium package, not with the automatic high beam. Check with your CA if you need to readjust your order.

When you build online on configurator it does show up on summary that it has garage door opener and compass mirror at no extra charge. sales person is not sure so i just gamble on $250.00 option.
