Calling to get production status...
When I call this number (1-800-831-1117) and give my production number it just keeps trying to transfer me to a representative... is anyone else able to get their status via this method?

Isnt that what its suppose to do? Then you ask the rep what your status # is...they can also tell you your build week.

When the system answers if you say "Vehicle Production Status" and then wait for the prompts--you enter your VIN or production number and it will give you an automated update on the car. Right now, when you way "Vehicle Production Status," it transfers you to a CSR.

Production status
Better to do it through your sales person if he doesn't mind.

I must admit, I'm pretty pathetic. I call at least 2 times a day. I'm still 112 and 150 just can't come soon enough! 1 more week!

...and it only gives you very generalized status.

When I called today it didn't forward my call; gave me "in transit" status again...so the automated "lady" is working...

Does it work for ALL BMW's in production or just those purchased in the us from BMW-NA. I have my ordered thru military sales and heard it doesn't work for us. True?

That's right--sorry but you're between the cracks in the system it seems.
