Come on, we can't be upset over this. Almost every other review has the M3 on top. The MB is a fantastic car in almost every way, but I'm still a bimmer guy. But the Lexus??????????? Thanks for playing, we have some lovely parting gifts......

Interesting results but like all tests each buyer can apply their own relativities to the test scoring criteria to measure their buying decision.
If I weight my criteria around point to point driving capability type scores and apply less weightings on ergonomics (the constant journalistic carping around i-drive usually means they couldn’t get used to it during the one day or less they had the vehicle for testing) styling etc etc then it looks like the M3 might have won the day on this test (for me at least). The same can be said for the competitors – isn’t it just horses for courses and we can all make our own decisions ? |

come to think of it the AMG C63 does have alot of merits. best HP/Torque, best price and value and best amenities... but poor resale value from what I have heard.
M3 resale is a little better due to Bimmer bastards like us, who cant be swayed that its not a better car in its series. M3 guys are like a cult member, if one drinks the cyanide kool aide drink, everyone should follow : ))) |
