Don't do window tint durring cold months?
I'm stuck in a position where I can do window tint or get some nice new angel eyes. If I do one, the other will have to wait ~1 month. Coming into winter here in PA would there be any detremental effects if I do tint in December because of colder tempurtures not allowing the tint to completely apply itself? If so I guess I'll do tint then angel eyes, but man oh man do I want angel eyes.

LIFE....and its dilemmas
dont mean to sound like a complete cock, but are you saying you can't afford to do both at the same time? If so, I think you may have purchased the wrong car as both those mods are relatively inexpensive.

Window tint can probably wait, do the eyes first.
I had my windows tinted 2 weeks ago and they had to retint my driver window this weekend. Everything came out great, but they do recommend not rolling down the windows for a longer period (7 days as opposed to 3-5 days in the summer).

Seriously. I never would have known I bought the wrong car when I like to stagger my mods a bit and don't want to blow a huge chunk of change off the bat. I feel when I do it step by step I form more of a relationship with each stage of the car. I paid the car off in full and never like to be in debt when it comes to the extra things in life. I bought the car last Thursday and have been thoughly enjoying it dispite the break-in. For me, I believe I bought exactly the right car.

Slammed was just saying that both tints and angel eyes together are relatively inexpensive when compared with some other mods like ECU, Exhaust, Wheels etc. So just do what your heart feels! Get the reflectors painted and do the angel eyes! leave the tints till spring if you feel the winter isnt good for doing them! Hope this helps! |
