The OEM splitter's and spoiler look super! If I may, I'd entertain the edition grill and CF side mirror caps, maybe even the edition side gills. Keeping it clean, classy and OEM while adding a touch more aggressiveness. I think it would look great on your car, matching what you've got on it now. Just a thought...here's the look I'm talking about.

Well, thank you! After a few gray ones, it's fitting for my last e92 to be SSII. Really looking fwd to it, this will be the one I hang on to for awhile...maybe even through the next generation.

So in the end my mechanic and I decided to use some bonding agent to mount it on for good. If you scrutinize it real close in person, you will see some real tiny gaps under between the spoiler and the trunk. I'm probably going to use small amounts of silicon to fill out and smooth the contact areas along the entire spoiler. So yes you are right. Reps will never be 100% fitting. |

Hi All, interesting post and interesting timing.....
I just bought an 08 SSII E90, this is my second E90 in 4 yrs. My last one was turned into a track beast. Question, I can not decided on wheels for the SSII E90. Do I go matte black Te37 or the Te37SL with polished rim. Other options I like are the black GT3 359 wheels or maybe the BBS CH-R Black or titanium...? Help, any suggestions are welcome....

But from my personal point of view, you should not go for matt black. There is hardly any contrast on the wheel and it's difficult to see the details unless there is very good lighting. It's like the SSII body color is so brilliant and then the wheels go missing because it's so dark. TE37s in mag blue or hyper black would look fantastic. Or you can join me with matt titanium CH-Rs. But these are just my opinions. If you really dig the matt black look then go for it! |

Ya, I am torn on this one. SSII is a hard color to get right.
I just wondering if the titanium will "ground" the sedan enough. If that makes sense.... the car has Dinan exhaust, so matte black tips and black front and side grills... thanks for the help...!

I think the opposite... SSII is an easy color to get right. I think black wheels look best. It's all about contrast. Light colored wheels are best with dark colored cars; dark wheels with light colored cars. I find that the details of black wheels are lost in photos but not so in person.
