F458 VS 991 GT3 RS VS Huracan VS LFA
Let's say you had $350k to spend. Out of a F458 spider, GT3 RS (991), LFA and a Huracan, which of the four would you take home and why? (Ohh to add more fun you can add you own car to buy; BUT must be worth $350k or around that.
F458? 991 GT3 RS? LFA? or Huracan? I know 991 GT3 RS isn't 350k but lets say it's a Gemballa. |

991 RS provided it turns out to be n/a. Reason: I had a life altering experience in an RS 4.0.
Pretty close call between that and the Speciale though.

Its not even the most hardcore version and despite the fact that the Speciale has 125 more hp and is lighter than the 991 GT3, they are neck and neck in most areas. The Speciale is certainly a bit faster in the straights but where these are meant to be driven, on the track, they are so, so close. Really shows you that the huge power advantage and slight weight advantage of the 458S is easily overcome by grip and the brilliant chasis in the GT3. Same goes for the GT3 vs the 650 hp McLaren. McLaren doesnt have a lot to show for the huge power advantage and slightly lighter weight. Based on how close they are, I would say its a safe bet the GT3 RS will be able to easily surpass the Speciale and 650S and still be only a bit over half the price. The RS 4.0 was at the time in another league...the 458 as good as it is wasnt a match for it. I would think even today the 4.0 would probably be the pick over the 458 Speciale it was that good. BTW - My buddy had the first 458 Speciale in the country and says he prefers both the 4.0 and GT3 over it. He just sold it for about 100K over sticker (450K). I Cannot wait until somebody reviews the GT3 RS because till then i think the Speciale has it but like what Wolfin said "Its not even the most hardcore version and despite the fact that the Speciale has 125 more hp and is lighter than the 991 GT3, they are neck and neck in most areas". So i think the RS will have the advantage no? unless Huracan Supperleggera! (Who knows what that would be or maybe a SV?)

I personally think the LFA is pretty cool because of that V10 and built quality. Looks on the other hand are debatable and we all know we all love that noise that V10 Produces. But The Huracan & 458 have presents to the more common folks who aren't car fans. But they all look super freaking hot and i really can't wait for the GT3 RS release as i loved the GT3 991.
God it's a hard now in days with all of these super cars releasing left and right! |

Huracan....I've always wanted a lambo. Had a Countach on my wall as a kid and progressed as the models changed.
