Nothing magical will surface here. The demographic is pretty well known:

1. Car lovers with enough $$ to buy it, even though most others at their income level find the price too scary.

2. People with the bucks to buy it because age/education makes it affordable.

3. Kids driving what daddy paid for.

Most of the people I know with M3's (e9x) are business owners, doctors, dentists, chiropractors, etc. Obviously this is not a vehicle accessible to the average person.

Since when do chiropractors make big money to afford M3s? Relatively speaking, compared to the doctors and dentists you've listed, chiropractor's make beans. (Note: I'm obviously not a chiropractor.)

But if you think about it, a lot of M3 drivers buy used, and can get into an E9X M3 for around $50,000-$55,000 now a days, making the car very affordable to the non-doctors, non-dentists, and non-chiropractor's (I guess) of the world.

Average person with an average income = 30-35k on average in the US regardless of profession. So a car of this caliber (even used) is not accessible to them (in any logical way).

To clarify, the professions mentioned above ARE NOT the ONLY ones that own these vehicles. I said that the people I know personally happen to be from those professions.
