IPE Exhaust Manual Valve Adjustment

Hopefully someone can help me here

I acquired E90 M3 with IPE Exhaust however the remote is missing so the valve is open all the time and it is very droney.

Is there a way for me to manually adjust the valve in the pipe itself with a stick or something else?

Thank you in advance.

Should be vacuum lines going to each side unplug them both at the muffler or at the unit itself (prob in the trunk).

The valves are vacuum, meaning they only close when there is vacuum pulling it shut. There is no way to push them close, the spring in the valve would just open it up again.

If you have lost the remote, just wire up a toggle switch to the vacuum solenoid that activates the valves. Then you can open/close the valve using the switch.

This is exactly what the PO of my E90 did, works great.

Thanks for the help! I'm not that technically minded I'll try the method above otherwise I'll get a new module.
