1 Series M Coupe: $53,600 CDN

Executive Package: $4900
Nav: $2000
Valencia Orange Paint: $800

Looked pretty fantastic to me at the Toronto Autoshow.

Was parked next to a Frozen Black Edition E92, and I've been underestimating how good the frozen paint finishes look in person as compared to the photos on the internet.

They also had an S65 on as stand so I fondled that a bit.

I was quite taken aback at how good the Mercedes C63 Aftllebach (sp?) looked. I didn't realize that was a frozen like paint finish, and the Red calipers actually appear to suit this special edition compared to the regular P31 package for the outgoing C63.

While I'm off topic I may as well keep on spewing crap, the XFR looked fantastic in black with the Red/Black seating. Made me think I should have spent more time with the XFR rather than get put off with the vastness of the White XFR my local dealer had in stock.

Sorry I don't have photo's, my son was not feeling well and I was carrying him all the way through the show, so the DSLR didn't escape the bag. The couple of pics above were on my BB.

James

I checked out the 1M when I was there on thursday night. Looks pretty good to me. Good value when you consider a 335 is about the same money!

It seemed like all the AMG Benz's on display were "frozen"

Especially when optioned up ($61k) it is a good $5k cheaper than an optioned up 335is. I'd trade some space for the M3 rear end.

I am starting to think I might need to pick one of these things up as a stable mate. Looking forward to driving one.

I am impressed by the 1m and it looks like it will be a fun car.I might have considered one if my M3 had not been so close to being here.Yesterday my car was at port waiting for the ship in Germany so I should have it by the end of March.

Didn't meet the 4 door criteria for me. But I would have been all over one like the proverbial fat kid and his hard coated chocolate treat.

Picking my car up 3 weeks Monday, getting soooo close now.

Only 3 more weeks James! And frozen black looks nicer than grey to me... On the Internet of course. Still a pain to care for.

My stealer has a frozen black that they're modding prior to selling it - Dinan, Akra evo, and more. I hope to check it out before it sells.

The Frozen Black that was at the Toronto Autoshow looked like a disaster, hand prints and marks all over it, frozen gray to me probably wouldn't be as bad. The interior looked pretty nice though.

For some reason 1M doesn't look proportional to me. I think it has too big of a front bumper.

I think all these frozen matte type colours that the Germans seem to be offering are a mistake as far as ownership is concerned.Real exclusive too with every German manufacture offering it and every BMW dealer having at least 1 M3 in stock in these colours.I guess mine will be rare as it will have a shine to it

$53,600 CDN is not a bad price. I was expecting it to be closer to 60Gs.
