Best BMW service at BMW Alexandria
Guys:
I can't get enough of the service department here at BMW of Alexandria. I have heard both good and bad stories from this service department, but I must say that my experience since I moved here has been nothing but great. Danika is my service rep there and every trip has gotten better and better. She even makes a note to have a loaner in black waiting (not that it really matters to me, but its the little things that make it count). It's not just that the car got fixed under the warranty, but the way in which they help me make decisions in fixing the car. IE: 1) When my brakes were making an awful noise they replaced the pads and rotors even though the wear on them didn't constitute a full swap. 2) When my rear tires needed to be changed out they suggested a website in which I could literally save 50% on a brand new set of PS2's rather than buying them from the service shop. 3) When they saw that my DCT shift knob was getting eaten away by my class ring, they immediately remembered another E92 M that was totaled on another lot and gave me the number to call to ask for the shift knob. They have there occasional moments of lapse, but overall I have nothing but praise for this service team. Just thought I would give them another thumbs up. |

You're right - it's the little things, isn't it? I have had excellent service advisors at Kuni BMW in Beaverton, OR as well.

Hmm, i'm in the NOVA area too, and I still use BMW of FFX
I've been going to BMW dealerships in the area for years. First was Arlington (now Alexandria), and now Fairfax has my loyalty. I've found that when dealerships are new, then loaners are given out all the time. But as time goes on, they become more strict on loaners saying that if it takes more than 2 hrs to repair, or if its something really minor and not a safety issue, then no loaner. So BMW of Alexandria is still relatively new, but I'm curious what the future will bring... That and we'll see how well they treat you when your warranty is up...lol

Can you share this website???!,,!!!!?... I just put ps2's on my car and BMW of Alexandria straight up told me they would not put on tires purchased elsewhere, specifically tire rack.com. |

The site is discountedwheelwarehouse.com For two 265 35z19 I paid a total of 600. It also may have been the timing around the black Friday to cyber monday season. Hope this helps. |

BMW of Alexandria has been great for service for me so far. My usual SA is Courtney and she's great. She wasn't there last night so a new SA (Laila) assisted me. Waiting on the call now.
I dropped off the car to this dealer for alignment, to check the engine and to check the M badge. I pointed out to them is that the stripes on the M badge were faded. It appears the seal over the stripes had broken and air/water got in. They said it's most likely not covered under the warranty. Has anyone experienced this issue? |

Dealer just called and SA stated that the badge is covered under warranty. I believe they replaced it. Will find out upon pickup this evening.
