New Dinan Mods=Happy Man! Exhaust & Intake Pics

Here a a few shots from my install. I ordered everything from IND - These guys are top notch! Exhaust was done on Friday night and Intake tonight.

Black powder coated tips look amazing on Jerez Black. Total exhaust removal/install time was 2 1/2 hours on ramps. Intake only took about 35-45 minutes.

Everyone bashes Dinan products because they say they are overpriced, but fitment is excellent and products are high quality! I love the way this exhaust sounds. Still loud on the outside with no drone.

Also ordered painted reflectors to get rid of the nasty amber ones. Next up is a software tune. Still undecided on ESS,Evolve or Dinan.

Enjoy

congrats!

FWIW, I have the same intake, exhaust (and just got the UD pulley and pedals) and went with the Dinan ECU software. I have nothing to compare it to, but I trust that Dinan did it right and have been happy with the software.

I've been happy with all of my Dinan parts. One of my best friends was their lead engineer for 18 years, and I know the amount of care they take in product development, and the quality, as you stated, is better than OEM.

So wear the Dinan products proudly. I just got my reardeck lid badge and am flying the colors proudly.

All together, I'm thrilled with the mods I have done with Dinan products. You will never grow tired of hearing that exhaust.

No Dinan Midpipe for me. I need to pass emissions in MD. Not sure about wheels, maybe the 19'' ZCP wheels or BBS.

Nice work. Love the Dinan exhaust sound. I'm pleased with my Dinan software, although I have no comparisons other than stock. Go for it! My favorite Dinan mod thus far is the exhaust, followed closely by the stage 1 suspension. ENJOY!

Race ramps are way more expensive than Rhino Ramps but so worth it.

Yeah, looks that way. I wish I knew they existed sooner so I didn't have to use my old college text books to create a mini ramp to get my floor jack under the front end. It took more time trying to figure out how to lift the car than to actually remove the Akra mid-pipe and put the stock back on.. Can't wait for the ramps to arrive so I can get under there and put the Akra back in. I removed it to pass State inspections and have been missing the sounds ever since! Which model do you have? I'm lowered on Eibachs and hope it'll clear.

Just some info that may be interesting:

You can actually buy a nice portable lift for the same price as the 4-wheel race ramps. It fits in a closet and you wheel it to both sides of the car. Then you use it just like a shop would. You need to think about the clearance of the garage door mechanism, though..... Seems like a better value than some expanded poly-foam!
Anyway, it is made by Dannmar and it is around $2K shipped.

Now, you just have to convince the wife to let you get it!

Never been crazy about their exhaust, although it does sound very nice. Intake is very nice.

If it sounds nice, saves weight, and is high quality (all Dinan is), why aren't you "crazy" about it? Honostly curious.
