Stock to dinan exhaust

Hey Guys

I am buying a dinan exhaust to replace my stock on a 2011 E92 M3. I checked around a few shops for the labor. Price range was from $200 to 400. Fair price? Is the exhaust swasp a bolt on or any welding involved? 1.5 hr job?
Thanks for the input.

Is it a full exhaust or catback? Either way, its bolt on

I had a shop in NYC install my catback Dinan and they charged me an hour labor $90. A full exhaust would definitely be more

Got my Meisterschaft gt2 done with a little help from a friend who has a hoist. Took maybe 30-40 mins. You shouldn't have to pay more than $100.

i'd pay them $40-50 to do it, that's pretty cheap. i actually paid a little more to have mine done because it was 30 deg outside. since then i've removed it and adjusted some of the mounts and brackets and helped a friend install his and it's super easy especially with four hands.

Well I'm in the same boat. Just had my Dinan installed. My local indy bmw shop charged 1.5 hrs. Was it too high, I don't know??

The beauty is I dropped my car off prior to a business trip and when I return it will be ready to go and I can spend time with my family in lieu of wrenching. Please take no offense if you did your own, time is just so limited. There is something to be said about efficiency and trust with a shop.

Cheers!

PS: I won't even get to hear the exhaust until next week, so much for instant gratification.

This is probably the dumbest question I can ask... Why don't you install it yourself? If it's bolt on, you can buy everything needed to install the pipes for less than the install. And then you'll have it all for future use

Buy a set of rhino ramps and chocks, find a competent friend, and do it yourself. Took me about an hour and a half, easy install. Plus you'll know it was done right.
