What is everyone getting for their boyfriend/girlfriend/spouse?
I really don't know what to get my boyfriend-maybe an xbox360?
I am looking to spend between $150-$300-that is how much we usually spend on each other.

Well, jk about that. I don't date over the Internet, but I don't have a SO either, so I guess that means more money for me in that I won't have to spend anything on a present.

video game system seems like a sad gift (he'd probably love it but...)

I'm a big fan of spending the money on having a nice evening out (maybe in a town a ways away with a nice hotel)

I'm not a fan of gifts, it's more about the thought behind it than the $$$$ (maybe that's why I'm single though)

Well, if you still can't think of anything, you can always get him a new E90 for Christmas. Of course, going this route, I think you might over-shoot your price target by about $30,000-40,000

Make an event of a weekend, roadtrip somewhere, see a concert, sports event, zoo, ...........

just an option, as a guy who's recieved presents, the ones that stand out are the special evenings put on by lady friends

but the all time best present was a factory trunk lid lip spoiler for my old E30 that my high school girlfriend got me (I'd generally tell a signifigant other to avoid car gifts for the car enthusiast as it's really really easy to miss and get a wrong present)

Xbox360 may be abit difficult to get right now....and not in your price range. Most available right now are from resellers that have jacked up the price.

Well...if he likes gadgets...how about an iPod nano??

Seriously, though, only you would know what he desires the most.

I got my girlfriend what she likes most: man-made synthetics, fabrics, and animal byproducts. That includes clothes, bags, shoes, and more clothes. I always feel guilty when I pay $300 for a pair of heels...knowing that's about a tenth of the price I paid for my 55" HDTV a year ago...

A shame she doesn't like man-made metals/plastics such as Sony's HDR 1080i camcorder, the newer HDTV models, receivers, speakers, laptops, iPods, GPS receivers, or anything else you would see at a typical Electronic Fry's.

What's up with all this craze about fabrics and cow skin?

ive never been in a relationship this is just from some of my close female friends. i just tend to remember the nights when they take me out more than i remember a gift....

I think you should get him the xbox 360 + something significant. Like...

For my best friend's birthday, I made him a HUGEEE life size card and it was the best thing ever. He loved it more than material gifts he got from everyone else.

I made a card that was really big and I used candy to replace words. Example:

Dear Eric,
You're one MMAZING person with a STARBURST personality. We need to make some hot SUGER BABIES. etc etc

I think that;s super cute

Anyway, since I'm single... I'm going shopping this weekend to get all of my friends presents. Most of my girl friends will just got little 25$ Gift Certificates to MAC or Abercrombie or something.. and I always buy my guy friends boxers and a bow tie. It's hot
