What is and why do you need a hub extender? Are you talking about spacers?

e9x hubs have an inverted chamfer - there is nothing for a hub extender to grab onto like previous M3s.

No need to worry, most quality +10mm spacers (like Macht Schnell) have an extended lip to center the wheel on the hub.

I'm running 10mm MS spacers with zero issue... no need for a extender.
