Exactly ... ^^^ this is why you see so many cars on the Autobahn De-Badged ... people like to keep it secret what they have under the hood.

Opposed to our part of the world you may have seen it some people put the ///M badge on a non ///M car ... what is that all about?

I think the crazy colors look good on other cars (like my Peridot Green Cayman S), but the cool thing about the M3, especially the E90 is the stealthy appearance. It looks more aggressive, but looks so much like the other 3-series that it doesn't really stand out.

+1... maybe the E92 can pull it off, but not E90.

Having owned a rio yellow s2000, I would def consider this color for an e92 coupe with cf roof.

Any crazy colored 350Z's you see have aftermarket paint. The 350Z only came in "normal" colors (i.e. white, blue, red, silver, gray, black, etc). At that point, it becomes an issue of questionable modding choices.

The M3 is NOT badass enough for obnoxious colors. It's not THAT fast. It's not THAT exclusive. It'd need to be (at least) on par with a GT3RS first IMO. Sure, it's no Toyota Camry but it's not a Gallardo either so flashiness should land somewhere in the middle.

IMO, it's still a souped-up 3-series.

I think FO and Dakar (which is pretty subtle in person) yes... No issues there. Green...No way.

Stock = no it's not badass enough

With some subtle and tastefull mods I think it can handle most non-neon colors. But hell I think only Lambo's can make neon green look good.

In this case a set of black wheels with some subtle yellow details would make the car look a lot better.

Whether a color is "badass" should matter only to the owner and it's their decision whether they want to deal with the attention. Just look at all the pearlescent neon colored "donks" and "bubbles" out there. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I don't think yellow is the most appropriate choice on an M3. I hate Dakar yellow but strangely I don't mind Atacama Yellow and I think it's the limit of what this car can pull off. Not necessarily for me though.

I had a yellow 370z before my M3 that was yellow. I doubt most of you would consider that a "badass" car but I loved that color!! I would totally rock a yellow M3 (with black accents). It was my "killerbee" and it got lots of looks. Some good and others not so good I'm sure. Whatever. Whatever makes you happy.

My license plate read: FAST TXZ

I think M3 is a very capable fast GT car and deserves a bit more aggressive paint then blah......black, white, gray and silvers.
