Post Pics: 19's or 20's on OEM suspension

i want to buy a new set of rims, but don't want to invest in a new suspension.

will 19's/20's look stupid with stock suspension??

Please post pics with full rim/tire size and offset.

thanks

Unless you want that 4x4 look, invest in the suspension

I've never seen a stock M3 even with comp package sit flush with the tires. There's always a gap in the wheel arch. 18 or 19 doesn't matter. Overall rolling diameter is still the same cuz you're either running 40 series or 35 series tires.

Flush to me means the top of the fender sits even with the top of the tire so there is no gap. Stock suspensions simply don't sit like that.

Get suspension... here's mine, Swifts are in the trunk waiting to be installed.

19x9 front and 19x10 rear with stock tire sizes for now.

Invest a set of swift spec R lowering springs, your car will look much better.

Not flush at all IMO. There's a reason why so many people ran spacers.

They all exaggerate....there will be a wheel gap, but it won't look stupid. If wheel gap is what you're used to on your car, then it won't bother you with you new wheels.

Also, if you're looking for pics, there are a ton of examples in the first link (sticky) in the wheel and tire sub-forum. Looking in the earlier years, you will find plenty of examples on stock suspension.
