You should wait, man. Don't give in to your desire to have the car by sacrificing everything you ultimately want the car to be. Believe me, you'll love having the car (sunroof and all) but the minute an AW with CF room zooms by you on the highway, you're gonna say "I should have waited."

You've waited this long... what's a few more months in the scheme of things?

I know how it must feel though -- I'm watching everyone take delivery of their e92 M3's and am getting a little restless myself. I've been holding out for the convertible (I know performance takes a hit, it's heavy, yadda yadda... but I've always been a convertible guy). Anyway, the convertible won't hit our shores for months yet. I've considered just buying a coupe from the dealer lot (since reports are that several are just sitting around), but it wouldn't, ultimately, be what I want. The minute I saw a convertible driving on the highway, I'd say to myself "...I should have waited." So, I wait. You should too

And that is during the break-in period. Wait until the engine can really be revved and they see the CF roof.
