How fast does Jet Black get dirty?

About a month ago I bought a 2010 e93 Black/Fox red M3...which I absolutely love. I get a lot of questions about the car, especially how quickly it gets dirty. I've run through my stock list of phrases (Faster than shit through a goose, etc.)...and I have run out, so I thought this would be a good place to turn.

I need to add to my repertoire of colloquialisms. Let the games begin by finishing the quote:

"Jet black gets dirty faster than..."

Very very very annoyingly fast. I don't like driving a dirty car but there is no way for me to keep up with my DAILY DRIVE jet black M3.

If you have time to post you have time to clean.........

Jet Black gets dirty faster than the American Government can spend 1 trillion dollars.

My last car was gloss black (MB) and no way in hell I'm getting another black car. It gets dirty immediately and everything shows up.

I can drive mine for about 4-5 days in good weather before the dust/pollen etc starts to get annoying. It's not worse than any other black car...

I always avoid any sprinklers or water in the roads. I also quick detail after I clean it to get the water run off from the side mirrors and trunk. Other than that, keep it waxed up so it takes longer for dust to stick.

Well it looks clean when I finish washing it. Next morning the shit has dust all over it. So pretty much wash it everyday.

I won't not trade my JZB for anything though.

Neither would I. I knew going in that I would need to wash it frequently, which is really a joy more than a chore. I also plan to invest heavily in Autogeek, and wrote them today for car detailing product recommendations. There's too much out there.

As an aside: does an M group ever get together in DFW?

In about 3 hrs of road time both parked and driven.

Black is the best looking when clean. It's not that hard to go to the car wash or wash the car yourself so I'm always going to be buying black cars.

...faster than it can go from zero to sixty.

I love my new 2nd job as an auto detailer. I literally clean at least part of my JB car every day.
